FTH SERIES
B.B. Battery VRLA batteries from the FTH (Front-Terminal 'high temperature' batteries) series are produced as 12-volt monoblocks with with capacities ranging from 100 to 150 Ah. FTH series is appropriately developed for telecom application and perform long floating life with high capacity.
The housing is made of opaque impact-resistant ABS plastic. The reinforced case is resistant to high temperatures. The wide range of operating temperatures from -20 to +65 °C.
The battery cover is securely connected to the housing, and the terminal areas are sealed. The terminal design depends on the type of battery. The battery cover has six holes through which the battery is filled with electrolyte during the production process. Pressure relief valves are then installed in the filling openings.
The pressure relief valves ensure a high level of fire and explosion safety. They are made from non-combustible materials. The positive and negative plates are paste-coated. The batteries can be installed in both horizontal and vertical positions.
The expected service life under normal operating conditions (t=35 °C) for FTH series batteries is 10 years.
B.B. Battery batteries from the FTH series are ideal power sources for renewable energy (solar energy, wind energy). telecommunication facilities, uninterruptible power supplies, data centers and electrical supply network and power industry.
They can also be used as power sources in power plants and energy storage systems.
Advantages
- Front-terminal design with terminals located on the front surface of the battery, which allows them to be installed in 19” or 23” cabinets and racks, and significantly facilitates the arrangement and subsequent maintenance of the battery pack
- Excellent performance at high temperatures
- The reinforced case is resistant to high temperatures
- Special alloy reduces the corrosion rate at the highest temperature differentials
- Additives in the electrolyte prevent internal short circuits at high temperatures
- The wide range of operating temperatures from -20 to 65 °C (-4 to 149 °F)
